The Datavideo TLM-700HD is a 7 Inch monitor with a 16:9 wide screen panel and a resolution of RGB 800 x 480 dots. It also has adjustable brightness, contrast, colour, and tint (NTSC only), as well as a flip/mirror effect and NTSC/PAL auto switching. The aspect ratio is switchable between 16:9, 4:3, and 15:9 and it has an OSD menu control. Other features include support for blue only, embedded audio and time code, and a viewing angle of top 40 degree/bottom 60 degree/right 60 degree/left 60 degree (minimum) and top 50 degree/bottom 70 degree/right 70 degree/left 70 degree (typical).

The TLM-700HD has a minimum LCD brightness of 250 cd/m2 and a typical LCD brightness of 300 cd/m2. It also has a minimum LCD contrast ratio of 400 and a typical LCD contrast ratio of 500. The LED backlight has a lifetime of 20,000 hours and the monitor also features a tally light with dual colours and a tally connection of D-Sub 15-Pin. With its range of connections and rugged metal design, the TLM-700HD is a great choice for outdoor and studio use with both HD and SD formats. It can be powered by a V-Mount type battery or a mains power adapter and offers advanced features such as audio indicator, safe area indicators, VITC time code display, and internal colour bars with a blue only function for precise calibration.
